President - Senior Madison Meade The president has many executive duties, they represent our chapter at district, regional, state, and national meetings. They are familiar with the responsibilities of other officers, and keep said officers focused on chapter goals. The president works closely with the rest of the council to form committees, and meetings when necessary involving new members, program activities, and chapter leadership. They use good communication skills to work closely with the chapter advisor and school administration when in the process of planning school wide or community based projects. The president will voice FCCLA opportunities/projects to all members during meetings. Vice President - Senior Hayley Burns The Vice President takes over presidential duties in the president's absence. They work closely with chapter committees to develop programs which meet the needs of the chapter, and their community. The VP will work with the President to challenge obstacles that the group faces. Secretary - Junior Taryn Cooper The secretary plays a crucial role in running the chapter, they are in charge of keeping official records of chapter activities and meetings. They also keep lists, designs activity calendars, and help create bylaws with the other officers. They assist the advisor with official chapter paperwork, and records votes. The secretary helps with circulating information through the official chapter social media sites. They track attendance records at meetings, and list all of the current chapter members. Treasurer - Junior Madison Shepard The treasurer assists the chapter advisor with collecting fees from members, and submitting local, state, and national dues. They keep record of transactions, to help the advisor manage funds for the chapter. All funds are recorded based on the amounts, times received, and their sources. Any and all records are communicated to the secretary for further processing and storage. The treasurer works with funds sources and committees to prepare a chapter budget, and this is then presented for approval amongst the chapter. The treasurer works closely with the advisor, and the president to achieve these goals. Reporter - Senior Mary Fenhaus The reporter's duties involve keeping record of events going on within the chapter. It is their responsibility to keep chapter members informed of upcoming events, and to publish this information in various ways, including social media accounts, and paper informants. The reporter will work closely with the secretary to maintain the chapter's image, and present advertisement techniques to the advisor and president. |
